For all my dog lovers out there...let’s learn how to sew super cute and stylish dog bandanas!
Dog bandanas are a great beginner sewing project. Not only are they easy to make but they don’t require a lot of fabric. Everyone loves their pup and wants them to look stylish, right? These aren’t just any bandanas....the bandanas we're making will actually slip over the collar!
Sewing dog bandanas require very little fabric. Use up your scraps or buy fat quarters. Mix it up with strip work, add an applique, embroider with pups name....and so on. Sew easy!
In this tutorial, I add another layer of simplicity by using my new bandana ruler templates. These templates allow you to cut your pattern out quickly with your rotary cutter. You can quickly make multiple for craft fairs, friends, or maybe you want several styles for your pup!
They come in four sizes: extra small, small, medium and large. You can buy them separately or as a set. I found these on Etsy and will share the shop link below.
I will be making and selling dog bandanas in my store; both online and at our shop in Louisville, Kentucky. Come visit us! We can personalize them with your pups name. Browse our dog bandanas for sale here.
